Part 3 –Rich’s Israel Trip – Casting the Vision-Up To Jerusalem
As I write this portion of the “Up To Jerusalem” vision I am looking at a scripture given to me by a friend in our congregation. It comes from Ezra 1:3 “Who is among you all of His people? May His God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel (He is God) which is in Jerusalem.” This is a word of Cyrus king of Persia to all the nations as God commanded Cyrus to build Him a house at Jerusalem. (See also Jeremiah 25:12; 29:10-15) Obviously my commission is not to build a physical house but a spiritual house in the hearts of Israeli believers in Yeshua.
In 1995, Rick Joyner prophesied over me that I would build spiritual houses in the hearts of men. Of late I have done a series of 18 teachings on the Foundation of the apostles and prophets Jesus Christ being the Chief cornerstone. The emphasis here is Jesus or Yeshua as I will refer to Him as I filter into Israeli society. Ephesians 2:19-21 verses 21-22 speaks of the chief cornerstone “in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” This is the true church (ecclesia, community, congregation) a dwelling place for God in the Spirit! My intention for the work in Israel is to build that house in the hearts of those starting in Jerusalem. Everything must be built from Messiah Yeshua the Chief cornerstone of all spiritual building.
The task will include all the works, gifts, and fruit of the Holy Spirit from which the promise of the Father was spoken to us through Yeshua. It will require a headquarters for me in the City of Jerusalem. A house purchased or donated to the non-profit corporation of Living Word Ministries International. Currently, I will begin the work and others from the Land will be raised up to join me in the work. The ministry here in Denver will be involved with me in prayer, intercessions, finances, and occasional trip to the Land for ministry and learning.
I believe the Lord has called me to begin this work around August/September of 2017.
I will also write the book in my heart entitled Restoring The Foundation which is needful for the entire Body of Messiah. Unfortunately, much of today’s church is built on the idea of “I am of Paul” and “I am of Apollos’ which the apostle Paul states as “carnal.” Wherefore there are divisions, envy, strife, which causes behavior as mere men. (See 1 Corinthians 3:1-23).
My heart and the vision Up To Jerusalem is to restore the foundation beginning again in Jerusalem.
Current Prayer Needs:
The sale of all my “stuff” Art collection, some furnishings, and the sale of my car just before the final trip outlined below. Get personal banking, investments, and finances in order.
Prayer and finances for follow up trips before final move to Israel/Jerusalem:
First trip in February 2017 – This trip is a reconnaissance trip for living quarters and ministry connections in Jerusalem and other cities. The venture preferably needs a house to be purchased/donated or a temporary apartment. Headquarters will be in Jerusalem. Date of trip February 8-28, 2017 Plane fare paid for will need additional finances for food and housing (possible rental car?).
Second trip tentative May 2017 – follow up and possible procurement of living quarters, furnishings, and ministry connections. More details to come.
Third trip August 2017 – physical move to Jerusalem – will eventually need a car. Everything is quite expensive in Jerusalem and Israel. Need those in the Body of Messiah to join with me to procure the needs of life in the Land through prayer, intercessions, and finances.
