ABOUT US

We believe the Church is a family, and we approach all we do together as a family, rather than as a corporation. Our Sunday services meet in homes in Arvada and Wheat Ridge. We usually being shortly after 10am with worship. We also have a time of teaching and discussion led by one of our pastors or members of the church. Our services typically last a little over 2 hours. On second Sundays we stay after for a potluck dinner and time of fellowship.

OUR VISION

Our mission is to equip, train, nurture, activate and release God’s people. We do this with an emphasis of loving others and God’s supernatural kingdom dynamics.

We are passionate about God, how He manifests through His Word, worship, healing, the prophetic, evangelism, and the creative arts.

OUR HISTORY

Living Word Ministries International was founded in 1998 by Rich Harris and his late wife Gail. Since the beginning, our call has been to activate and train God’s people in their gifts and and callings for the work of kingdom service and advancing the Kingdom of God in the Earth.

MEET THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

JOHN & SARAH ROTH

SENIOR PASTORS

John and Sarah have overseen the worship since they first attended in December 2000.

John’s primary passion is to worship the King. He has been blessed and honored during his time at LWMI to learn from and play alongside musicians such as Don Potter, Leonard Jones, JoAnn McFatter and Amber Brooks.

Sarah is from the United Kingdom and came to Colorado in 1991 as part of Youth with a Mission (YWAM). She supports John in worship, and her favorite place is interceding and worshiping behind him during worship. Sarah uses her gifts to help organize big events in the marketplace but also with the church and brings practical and visionary experience to our community as part of the leadership.

Together with their son Noah they desire to see the body of Christ walk in the fullness of who God created them to be.

Rich Harris

FOUNDER

Rich has two sons, a daughter, and 5 grand children who live in Tennessee, California and Australia.

Rich and his late wife Gail founded Living Word Ministries International (in 1998) and the Golden Eagle School of Practical Ministry (in 2002) in Wheat Ridge, CO. Rich teaches the prophetic with principles that advance the Kingdom of God. He has taught prophetic schools nationally and internationally. Rich has authored several articles on prophecy and the books entitled Prophetic Evangelism – Reaping The Final Harvest, The Face of Prophecy – Determining The Truth, and A Paradigm Shift of Prophetic Revelation.

EVAN & KIRSTEN DOUKAS

ASSISTANT PASTORS

Evan, Kirsten and their daughter, Hannah, have been a part of the LWMI community since 2015 and became a part of the leadership team in 2017.

Evan helps lead worship, works professionally as an insurance inventory specialist, and has a passion for mentoring young men. He was born and raised in New York, on Long Island, and loves food and cooking, music and gardening.

Kirsten spends most of her time homeschooling Hannah, and also works from home doing graphics and website design. Born and raised in Arvada, she lived in New York for nine years, where she worked in theatre, design and professional ministry.

Together, they have a heart to see others raised up to be fully mature sons of God.
